This is a cosy and recently renovated flat with one bedroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchen/kitchenette and wc with shower. The location is perfect – right above the best beach, Playa Burriana, in the small Spanish town Nerja, the jewel of the sun! Wonderful terrace with views to the mountains and the sea. The flat is situated in the Capistrano Playa area with fabulous gardens, waterfalls and an artificial lake in the centre. There are three swimming pools to the area, one of which is a children’s pool.

The pool area was renovated in 2015. Nerja is only 45 minutes from Malaga airport to several airlines flying from Stockholm, Gothenburg and Västerås. There is a lot to do in and around Nerja, besides sunbathing and swimming at the beach / in the pool you can also other, play golf, go shopping, skiing, visit a lot of good cafes and restaurants. The old town centre of Nerja and the “Balcon de Europa” are two places that alone make Nerja worth a visit. Nerja’s climate is considered to be one of the best in Europe and the sea is bathable all year round, reaching around 18 degrees in winter.

Approximate temperature: winter (Dec-Jan): 18-20 degrees daytime, spring (Feb-May): 19-25 degrees, summer (June-Aug): 26-30 degrees and autumn (Sept-Nov): 22- 28 degrees. However, the sun warms up and when it is 18 degrees in the shade it is considerably warmer in the sun. NOTE: As the area is situated on a slope towards the sea, the area is not particularly suitable for disabled people, but access to the flat is just over ten steps from the street and street parking is available.

It is easy to book in advance and pick up/drop off a hire car at the airport. The roads to Nerja and to the flat are good, safe and easy to find. 45 minutes drive from Malaga airport. Taxi costs about 600 SEK each way. Interior: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen (with fridge and freezer, cooker, coffee machine, microwave / combi oven, kettle, toaster, mixer, etc), TV (with Swedish channels like SVT 1, SVT2, TV3, TV4, TV5, Viasat and C-plus channels / cost SEK 200 per week) Beds: One double bed in the bedroom and sofa bed for 2 persons in the living room.

About the town of Nerja

THE MOST VISITED OF NERJA WANT TO COME BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN. Palm trees, orange trees, lemon trees and lots of beautiful flowers adorn the town. It is an authentic Spanish idyll with whitewashed facades, black wrought iron balconies and decorated gates. A charming, well-preserved town with no large hotel complexes or high-rise buildings.

Nerja is located about 8 kilometres east of Malaga on the Spanish Costa del Sol. The town is beautifully framed by the magnificent Sierra Almijara mountain range, which in addition to its beauty also gives Nerja its unique climate with the mildest winters in Europe. It is on average 3-4 degrees warmer than in Malaga. Here the locals grow avocados, grapes and peaches in their own orchards.

A central meeting place in Nerja is the Balcón de Europa. Here you are offered a beautiful view of the Mediterranean, small beaches and the mountains. You can choose between small personal beaches or slightly larger beaches with restaurants, cafes and activities. In Nerja you can experience everything from the dolphin caves of Cuevas de Nerja, one of the most beautiful mountain villages of Spain Frigiliana, hiking in waterfalls to skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
